Meet tiiu.

I’ve loved flowers for as long as I can remember. As a young kid growing up in the U.S., I imagined myself working with flowers, shaping color and movement into something that could speak without words. But life carried me elsewhere for many years.

 

After university, I followed a long and practical career path, one that made sense on paper but left something essential quiet inside me. For nearly two decades in user interface design and creative direction, I led teams, shaped brand identities, and built digital experiences with clarity and purpose. That, along with my work in culinary arts and wedding cake artistry, trained my eye for composition and craftsmanship. In both worlds, I was always searching for the same thing: how form, feeling, and presence can quietly move someone.

 

Floristry is where all of these sensibilities finally converged.

 

Coming to Estonia to study floristry felt like returning home. My parents are both Estonian, and the landscape carries a familiarity I recognized before I ever arrived, the understated beauty, the forest light, the reverence for vaikus (stillness) and ruum (space). I learned not only technique but how to listen to the season, to the gesture of flowers, and to what wants to be expressed rather than controlled.

 

My work is shaped by natural form and the emotional language of flowers. I strive to create in ways that feel truthful, allowing each arrangement to remain unforced and connected to the moment it’s made for.

 

This is more than a craft.

It’s something I’ve been circling back to my whole life.
I’m finally where I’m meant to be.
